	Our membership is 1,008 physicians, residents and medical students - all of whom receive medical, scientific, political and office information through a variety of medical society resources. We assisted the press on dozens of medically-related stories, provided physician guest for six Morning Blend shows and provided 1,639 patient referrals to physicians in Pima County and answered countless questions from physicians about regulatory boards, federal programs and the Arizona Legislature as well as countless questions from patients - ranging from disease states to program eligibility. We have about 90 physician volunteers, officers to committee members, who aid in our services and information. Our Board of Mediation solved about 20 disputes between physicians and patients. We aided in creating continuing medical education for 132 physicians and non-credit seminars covering Medicaid and electronic health records. We testified about pain management at the Arizona Medical Board and hosted a meeting of candidates for governor. We defended several pain physicians at the medical board, with insurance companies and hospital review committees.
