What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? This is an organization of Certified Surgical Technologists. The primary purpose is to: 1)study, discuss, and to exchange professional knowledge, expertise, and ideas in the field of surgical technology; 2)to promote a high standard of surgical technology performance for quality patient care; 3)to stimulate interest in continuing education for surgical technologists; 4)to promote careers in surgical technology; and 5) to promote and maintain communication with other professional health care organizations.
Describe what was achieved in carrying out the organization's exempt purposes. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Quality of Health Care: Held Spring and Fall Conference for the education and benefit of Certified Surgical Technologists in the State of Indiana. Continued to work on legislation in the state of Indiana that would require Surgical Technologists to be certified and maintain continuing education.
