Briefly describe the organization’s mission: Pleasantville Fire Rescue Association is a volunteer rescue department consisting of a fire operations division and an emergency medical services division. It provides fire and ambulance services to approximately 130 square miles in Marion and Warren Counties with a total population of nearly 10,000.

	The Pleasantville Fire Rescue Association responded to 62 fire calls and 256 EMS calls in fiscal 2010/2011. An additional AED was given to the Police Department for expanded AED coverage. The Pleasantville Fire Rescue has also provided standby Medics at little league events free of charge. The Organization works with the school by allowing them to utilize all CPR and AED training equipment and have provided staff for CPR classes. Our community efforts this year include providing CPR classes to business and area residents free of charge. We have also implemented daytime staffing to handle low staffing concerns.
