What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Lakeview Cemetery Association, Inc. maintains a cemetery located in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. The Association provides the care and upkeep of all of the property held for these purposes, and sells burial plots to members of the public in those areas of Lakeview Cemetery which have not been used up to this time. In 2005 and 2006 a monument to hold cremated remains was added, and income is derived from the sale of niches in this monument.
Describe what was achieved in carrying out the organization's exempt purposes. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 The Association maintained and enhanced the attractiveness of the cemetery property. Burial plots and crematorium niches were offered for sale to the general public, and provided much of the revenues for the ongoing maintenance.
