Description of Uncertain Tax Positions Under FIN 48:	Part X:	FIN 48 Statement: Automotive Maintenance Repair Association is exempt from tax on revenue other than unrelated business revenue under Sections 501(c)(6) of the Internal Revenue Code. No provision for income taxes is required for the year ended June 30, 2011, as the Association had no unrelated business income. The Association performed an evaluation of uncertain tax positions for the year ended June 30, 2011, and determined that there were no matters that would require recognition in the financial statements or that may effect its tax-exempt status. As of June 30, 2011, the statute of limitations for the tax years 2008 through 2010 remains open with the U.S. federal jurisdiction or the various states and local jurisdictions in which the Association files tax returns. It is the Association's policy to recognize interest and/or penalties related to uncertain tax positions, if any, in income tax expense. As of June 30, 2011, the Association had no accrued interest and/or penalties.
