Commissioning of the Fleet - An opening event for every yachting season is the Commissioning of the Fleet and dinner dance. The commissioning or blessing of the fleet is a maritime and fisherman's tradition dating back to the early Mediterranean era. Boats and all who sail in them are blessed, with prayers to return them to land in safety and with bountiful catch.

Commodore's Ball - The center piece event of the season is the Commodore's Ball. This yachting tradition honors the Commodore and is always the grandest evening of the season. All members are encouraged to sport their best attire, black tie recommended. Guests are more than welcomed.
