Each employee is required to complete a Conflict of Interest Statement identifying any area that they think may be a conflict as defined in the policy. If employees have influence on transactions involving purchases, contracts, or leases they are required to disclose to the Executive Director or Board of Directors as soon as possible the existence of any actual or potential conflict of interest so that safeguards can be established to protect all parties. Each employee is required to update their conflict of interest statement if any changes occur during their employment with the Praxis Project. In addition to the employee updating their personnel files with any changes, Praxis monitors and enforce compliance with the policy to ensure those employees or board members who have direct access to contractual agreements and financial disclosure. This includes exclusively the Board Chair, the Treasurer, the Executive Director and the Finance Director. |
