There are no business transactions among or between the three Board members. 2) Michigan Electric Cooperative Association (MECA) is a Statewide organization of which Great Lakes Energy and all electric cooperatives in Michigan are members. Great Lakes Energy pays dues to MECA as well as consulting and pass through fees for coordination and implementation of State of Michigan mandated Energy Optimization programs. The results are confidentially disclosed to the Chairman of the Board of Directors and sets the salary levels for the Officers each year.
