	Provide for the social pleasure and entertainment of 310 club members. The Clubs membership turnover ratio is less than 3 annually. The Club maintains the Clubhouse, a period cottage overlooking the Straits of Mackinac, for the purpose of providing a location for the membership to gather and socialize. The Club encourages social gatherings of its membership through sponsored meals and activities. The Club offers an average of 2 planned meals per week during its season, plus additional events such as barbeques and fish fries. The Club also sponsors activities to promote the common interest of the membership such as a local sailing yacht race.
