What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? To provide college scholarships for young women between the ages of 17 to 24.
Describe what was achieved in carrying out the organization's exempt purposes. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 The Miss Washington Scholarship Organization is an official preliminary to Miss America and oversees the operation of local preliminary and state pageants. 17 young women competed for the title of Miss Washington. Statewide 146 local contestants competed for local titles. Scholarships are awarded at the state and local level. The program promotes higher education and community service on a local, state and national level.
