What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? THE BUSINESS ASSOCIATION OF WEST PARKSIDE (BAWP)ENCOURAGES, SUPPORTS AND PROMOTES EMERGING AND EXISTING BUSINESSES IN THE GREATER WEST PARKSIDE REGION. WE FACILITATE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN BUSINESSES LOCATED IN, OR DOING BUSINESS IN, OR DOING BUSINESS WTH OTHER COMPANIES LOCATED IN WEST PARKSIDE. FURTHER, BAWP ADVOCATES FOR THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY AT THE STATE AND LOCAL LEVEL, ENSURING THE NEEDS AND CONCERNS OF OUR MEMBERSHIP ARE HEARD.

28 Project - The Philadelphia Stars Negro League Memorial Park. The organization maintains the Memorial Park and pays the utility bill. Funds are raised for the up-keep and the holding of Jackie Robinson Day on April 15th of each year.
