What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The Bradford Area Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary organization of business and professional people whose mission is to strive to build a healthy economy and to improve the quality of life in the region.
Describe what was achieved in carrying out the organization's exempt purposes. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 The Bradford Area Chamber of Commerce provided the services on behalf of the membership of the largest nonprofit professional and business organization in McKean County. Legislative advocacy with a public event. Business after hours were held at various member locations. An open house was held for the community and several Entrepreneurial Club meetings. Relocation packages were sent and the gift certificate program was administered. We welcomed tourist to the area and supplied much information for callers and visitors to the area.
