Briefly describe the organization’s mission: American Architectural Manufacturers Association is a self-regulating organization comprised of window and door industry manufacturers, suppliers, and independent industry affiliated members. The association provides a source of perfomance standards, product certification, and educational programs for the fenstration (windows, doors, etc) industry.

These meetings also provide opportunities to discuss marketing and technical services to improve the industry.

AAMA Certification Program and its "Gold Label" are accepted, if not required by many Federal, State and Municipal Building Codes as the foremost window and door Certification Program for providing assurance of product quality to builders, dealers, and building and home owners. In addition to the "Gold Label" Certification, AAMA also has a "Silver Label" Certification to which manufacturers may certify thermal performance.
