	Communications: the newsletter, "Eye on Oregon," is published bi-monthly and contains articles on current research and clinical techniques. The newsletter and additional resources are avilable to members on-line through the association's website. The organization also provides widespread public education on the need for regular eye exams and the services that doctors of optometry can provide, loans low-vision equipment, and provides vision information displays for member to use for presentations.
