Description of Uncertain Tax Positions Under FIN 48:	Part X:	FIN 48 Foot Note Financial Managers Society, Inc. has been determined to be exempt from taxes pursuant to the provision of Section 501(c)(6) of the Internal Revenue Code. The tax exempt purpose of the Society and the nature in which it operates is described in the first paragraph of Note 1. Management believes the Society continues to operate in compliance with its tax exempt purpose. While the Society is generally exempt from income taxes, it may be subject to taxes on unrelated trade or business income. For the years ended December 31, 2010 and 2009, no tax provision was required for unrelated business income. The Society's information and income tax returns filed with the federal and state governments are subject to examination for the statutory period.
