Accomplishment: Purchased teacher/administration wish list items like science materials, technology products, classroom books, etc to benefit each classroom and specialty classes, through our annual Invest in Your Child (IYC) fundraising campaign. This was particularly needed as we continue to add new classes in upper elementary.

Accomplishment: Purchased gift cards for teachers in each classroom and specialty class at the start of the academic year and mid-way through the academic year for materials and other classroom items that the school district does not purchase, through funds raised at the annual parking fundraiser. We also raised money for this through a silent auction held at FlutterFest.

Organized a school-wide school supply purchase, where interested households and families paid for a bulk supply purchase, coordinated through the PTO (i.e. parents received the student material list for the next academic year, parents wrote a check for the total discounted supply list to the PTO, PTO purchased discount materials at a bulk rate for interested families). 2. Started our chess and math clubs which are our first co-curricular classes at our school. 3. Performed audit on PTO records and implemented suggested changes. 4. Transitioned from PTA to PTO, establishing a 501c3 status. 5. Set up a Chantilly Montessori PTO website. 6. Montessori consultants were arranged to come in for professional services for our staff. 7. Had family movie nights at the school.
