What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? TO PROMOTE THE ADVANCEMENT OF COMMERCIAL, INDUSTRIAL, AND CIVIC INTERESTS IN THE CITY OF CORTEZ, COLORADO AND ITS TRADE AREA.

28 THE CHAMBER HAS MORE THAN 300 MEMBERS AND OPERATES THE COLORADO WELCOME CENTER WHICH RECEIVES MORE THAN 50,000 VISITORS TO OUR COMMUNITY EACH YEAR. THE CHAMBER SPONSORS COMMUNITY EVENTS, TRAINING SEMINARS, AND SERVES AS THE POINT OF FIRST CONTACT FOR PEOPLE THAT ARE NEW TO THE AREA.
