Explanation:

On August 15th we filed an extention request electronically with a 3rd party provider. We were notified August 16th that the extention was rejected because of a name missmatch. We shorten Veterans of Foreign Wars to VFW. After correcting the error we refiled but were now rejected because we were beyond the deadline. The original reason for requesting the second extention was this is our first year filing the full 990 which obviously is much more detailed than the 990EZ we had filed for years. We are respectfully asking that any penalties be waived.
