What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The Texas Society of Pathologists is the statewide membership organization specifically targeted to pathologists practicing in Texas. Founded in 1921, TSP is the oldest state pathology organization in the United States, and currrently has more than 790 members statewide. Through its mission of "Focusing on Excellence in Medicine," the Society provides continuing medical education, publications, a resource center, advocacy, job placement listings, and many other member services for pathologists and those interested in the field of pathology.
