This dessision was made in order to acheive greater efficiency and stability, to enhance the best interests of the memberships, to promote the general welfare, and to enable the Locals Unions and members to be stronger together.
Form 990 Part VI	12C	It is the policy of Joint Baord Unite HERE that is shall examine the LM-30s fillings which are available on-line to any officer or employee. The president shall notify the execuitve board of any LM-30 filings and make them available to the executive board upon request.
Form 990 Part VI	15B	Salaries of the top officer, other officers and key employees shall be approved without the affected officer/employee participating in the approval.
Form 990 Part VI	13	This whistleblower policy of Joint Board United HERE encourages all employees to come forward with credible information on illigal practices or serious violations of adopted policies of the union specified that Laundry, Dry Cleaning Allied WKRS will protect legitimate whistleblowers from retaliation and identifies where such information can be reported.
Form 990 Part VI	14	Union staff and officers are prohibited from destroying documents with the intent to obstruct an investigation by Federal, State or Local Authorities. Violation of this policy will result in severe discipline, up to and including discharge.
Form 990 Part XI	5	Laundry Dry Cleaning Allied Workers Joint Board LDCAWJB and Metropolitan Distribution and Trucking Joint Board MDTJB agree that the labor organizations shall merge into one Joint Board to be know as the Laundry, Distribution, and Food Service Joint Baord LDFSJB and affiliate all of the existing affiliated Local Unions into the Laundry, Distribution, and Food Service Joint Board.
