| Form 990 Part III | 4a | Below is a list of activies and partnerships realized by UWFC. The annual Penny Pals drive was a success again this year. During a two-week period, elementary students bring in change to support United Way and to compete as to which class raises the most. The Penny Pals campaign raised 7021 for the agency. The UWFC held their annual golf outing netting 5686 for the organization. UWFC held a Boo Ball during the Halloween season netting 971 to further the mission of the agency. The agency held the annual Denim for a Difference Day in which local busineses allowed employees to pay 5 per person to wear jeans to work for a day. This year UWFC held a Stuff the Bus campaign to help provide students in the community with the necessary school supplies that they need to succeed at school. |

The following is a brief summary of the of the impact these agencies had in the community thanks to United Way. Each of United Ways partner agencies fall into one of the following four categories Special Emergency Needs- Programs that provide food, clothing, and shelter for those in crisis, as well as vital intervention, prevention and counseling. Promoting Independence Wellness- Programs tht help individuals be self sufficient and live as independently as possible. Promoting Good Health- Access to medical attention, prescription drugs and activities tht promote physical and mental well-being. Helping children youth succeed- Helping children get the right start in life and guide them to become responsible, successful adults. |
