	During 2010, Aberdeen, SD hosted over 100 conventions, group and familiarization tours, meetings, sporting and special events. As a result of our marketing efforts tens of thousands of delegates and visitors came to the Aberdeen area. We staff and maintain two visitor centers which provide information about the community, our facilities, attractions and events. The Visitors Centers serviced visitors from all 50 states, 6 Canadian provinces and 40 foreign countries. We print several publications that are distributed to entice visitors to the area and maintain two comprehensive websites, one geared to the leisure tourist and one geared to the hunting and fishing sportsman. We coordinate volunteer assistance (632 hours), fulfill requests for visitor information, and host hospitality rooms for sporting events and conventions.

	Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 8	There shall be an Executive Committee comprised of the President, the President-Elect, the immediate Past President, and the Secretary Treasurer of the Convention and Visitors Bureau. The Executive Committee exercises the powers of the Board in the interim between regular meetings of the Board, and makes recommendations to the board.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 11		The Draft Form 990 will be reviewed by the Executive Director and the Finance Manager before filing. The final return will be presented to the Executive Board of Directors as well as the full CVB Board of Directors.
	Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 12	Each board member and the city liaison to the board signs a conflict of interest statement annually and as the situation arises. These are provided to the Executive Director for her review. At the beginning of each board meeting, a conflict of interest statement is read to determine if any conflicts exist for any of the agenda items.
		Executive Director Compensation: - Each December the Executive Board of Directors performs the Executive Directors Employee Evaluation. - If a Merit increase is granted, the increase will be assessed to the first payroll in January. - This process is true for all employee merit increases.
