What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? All funds collected less expenses are for the purpose of educational programs and activities for the students enrolled in Cass District 63. Funds are granted to Cass District 63 to be used for the purpose described above. Our activities benefit approximately 500 students and 100 teachers.
Describe what was achieved in carrying out the organization's exempt purposes. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.

Funds are granted to Cass District 63 to be used for the purpose outlined above. Our activiteies benefit approximately 500 students and 100 teachers. Examples of our activities are an ice cream social, classroom holiday parties, teacher appreciation, school dances, bingo night, smart boards, t-shirts, field trips, class picnics, etc...

The money earned from our fundraising activities are granted to the District at the end of each of our fiscal years. We do not keep any funds in our account other than what is needed to fund the educational and social events we sponsor for the district. Any money left over or earned is gifted to District 63 at the end of the year.

Explanation:
At the end of our fiscal year 2010, we elected new officers to the PTC, including a new treasurer. Due to our bylaws not being available to her, she did not know that our return was due on 11/15. She thought it was due on 11/30. Since I was treasurer up to fiscal year end of 6/30/2011, I agreed to complete this return for her. Our late return is due to lack of communication on our part. The PTC donates 100% of our earned fundraising money to the school district, therefore we would plead that we are not subject to any penalty due to lack of communication among newly elected officers and those that they replaced and also due to the fact that we do not have have any excess income with which to pay such fine.
