	The Anderson Valley Winegrowers Association produced two public festivals; the internaional Alsace Varietals Festival and the Anderson Valley Pinot Noir Festival, to promote red and white wines produced in Anderson Valley and Mendocino County. The Associations fostered cooperation among the area grape growers and wineries by hosting conferences and educational seminars. Funds are raised by silent auction during the Festivals and donated to local nonprofit organizations.
