(CONTINUED FROM FORM 990, PART III, LINE 1) HOSPICECARE FOUNDATION IS OPERATED EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE SUPPORT AND BENEFIT OF HOSPICECARE, INC., WHICH IS A RELATED 501(C)(3) ORGANIZATION THAT PROVIDES CARE AND SUPPORT TO PATIENTS AND FAMILIES FACING LIFE-LIMITING ILLNESS. THE HOSPICECARE FOUNDATION IS A COMMUNITY OF DONORS WHO SHARE THE VALUE OF A HEALTHY END-OF-LIFE JOURNEY. THE FOUNDATION'S SUPPORT HAS HELPED HOSPICECARE ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF ITS SERVICE AND EXPAND ITS REACH TO ALL THOSE WHO NEED HOSPICECARE'S SERVICES. IN ADDITION TO THE GRANT SUPPORT THAT THE FOUNDATION PROVIDED TO HOSPICECARE INC. AND HOSPICECARE HOLDINGS INC., THE FOUNDATION HAS BEEN WORKING TO BUILD A SIX-MONTH OPERATING RESERVE FUND TO HELP HOSPICECARE INC. WEATHER FINANCIAL CHALLENGES.
