What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The organization will educate policymakers and the general public regarding the changes needed to reform public education. It will also engage parents and caregivers and asiist them in voicing their concerns about public education.
Describe what was achieved in carrying out the organization's exempt purposes. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 During 2010 the program established its presence in the state by hosting ands co-hosting four events designed to educate the public and lawmakers and to encourage education reform in Michigan. Grants were used to allow over 1000 parents and students to learn more about education reform by attending events and showings of the movie "Waiting for Superman".
