What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Education Promotion-promotes professional and personal growth of women educators.
Describe what was achieved in carrying out the organization's exempt purposes. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 The organization promotes personal and professional growth of women educators. Our conferences and conventions provide members the change to grow professionally and personally. We award scholarships to members to further their education, provide funds for chapter projects, and give scholarships to international students attending Iowa colleges and universities. For the year 2010-2011 Member scholaships totalled $2396, College Scholarship Recipients totalled $3500, and Chapter Literacy Grants totalled $800.
