What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? THE VFW MISSION IS TO "HONOR THE DEAD BY HELPING THE LIVING" THROUGH VETERANS' SERVICE, COMMUNITY SERVICE, NATIONAL SECURITY AND A STRONG NATIONAL DEFENSE.
