LCD TV ASSOCIATION IS A MARKETING TRADE ASSOCIATION FORMED TO PROMOTE AND INFORM(VIA TRADE SHOWS, NEWSLETTERS, WHITE PAPERS, INTERVIEWS, WEB SITE, SPEECHES,ETC), CONNECT AND IMPROVE(VIA ADVISORY BOARD MEETINGS, TRADE SHOW GATHERINGS, COMMITTEE CALLS AND MEETINGS, PANELS, ETC) THE LCD TV PRODUCT AND SUPPLY CHAIN, FOR BOTH MEMBERS AND CONSUMERS.

THE GOAL IS TO ENGAGE EVERYONE IN MORE DISCUSSIONS AND INFORMATIONAL SHARING TO REDUCE CONFUSION AND THE PROLIFERATION OF MEANINGLESS, LARGE NUMBER SPECS THAT MAY NOT CORRELATE WITH REAL CONSUMER, BENEFITING THE INDUSTRY OVERALL AND HELPING TO FOSTER HEALTHY COMPETITION AND CREATE BETTER PRODUCTS FOR CONSUMERS AND RETAILERS ALIKE.
