What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The primary purpose of MSAE is to provide educational opportunities for its members, to provide an avenue for the exchange of ideas and information, and to provide its members with the resources they need to enhance performance and ensure continued professional growth.

28 The Mississippi Society of Association Executive's convention was held in conjunction with the Louisiana SAE convention, approximately 166 people attended the convention.

29 The Association held luncheons during 2010 to educate members and exchange information among the society members and to maintain high professional standards. Six luncheons were held during 2010 with approximately 265 people attending. Also in an effort to increase training and education opportunities, the Association continued to issue its quarterly magazine that offers valuable professional updates and information. The Association developed CAE study groups. These study groups provide support for members seeking to obtain the Certified Association Executive designation.
