Uncertainty in Income Taxes		In 2006, the FASB issued guidance related to the accounting for uncertainty in income taxes. This guidance, which is included in ASC 740, Income Taxes, sets forth criteria for recognition and measurement of tax positions taken or expected to be taken in a tax return. In addition, it requires that companies recognize the impact of a tax position if that position is "more likely than not" of being sustained on audit, based on the technical merits of the position. It also provides guidance on derecognition, classification, interest, penalties, accounting in interim periods, and disclosure. The guidance, as extended by amendments, was effective for the PCI on January 1, 2009. The adoption of the provisions of this guidance did not have a material effect on the PCI's consolidated financial statements.
