PERFORMANCE: WE REMOUNTED OUR PRODUCTION OF CROSSING MOUNTAINS IN THE FALL OF 2010, AND SUBSEQUENTLY TOURED THIS PRODUCTION TO THE HINDMAN SETTLEMENT SCHOOL IN KNOTT COUNTY, KY AND TO ALICE LLOYD COLLEGE. WE THEN REMOUNTED OUR PRODUCTION OF FABRIC, FLAMES, AND FERVOR: GIRLS OF THE TRIANGLE, WHICH ENJOYED 8 PUBLIC PERFORMANCES IN KY AND THEN TRAVELED TO NYC FOR PERFORMANCES AT HOSTOS AND MANHATTANVILLE COLLEGES, AND FOUR PERFORMANCES AT MANHATTAN THEATRE SOURCE. IN JUNE OF 2011, WE PRODUCED J. SHAFER'S HUNTING THE BASILISK AT THE RUDYARD KIPLING IN LOUISVILLE, KY. THROUGHOUT THE YEAR WE TOURED OUR PRODUCTIONS OF "CHOICES: AN INTERACTIVE PLAY ON CYBERBULLYING AND TEEN SUICIDE" TO OVER 2 DOZEN SCHOOLS, AND "STRANGERS/EXTRANJERAS" TO LOCATIONS IN KY, VA, AND IL.
SECOND ACHIEVEMENT

COMMUNITY OUTREACH: WE CONDUCTED OVER 14 WEEKS OF RESIDENCIES BOTH DURING AND FOLLOWING THE SCHOOL DAY AT SCHOOLS THROUGHOUT KY, MOST NOTABLY A 2 WEEK RESIDENCY FOCUSING ON ANGER MANAGEMENT AND CONFLICT RESOLUTION WITH KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS AT WILDER ELEMENTARY, AND EVENING WORKSHOPS WITH COMBINED GROUPS OF STUDENTS AND PARENTS USING THEATRE TO DEAL WITH ISSUES OF BULLYING. WE ALSO WORKED FOR 8 MONTHS WITH STUDENTS AT FERN CREEK HIGH SCHOOL, ADAPTING A VERSION OF "CHOICES" FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL AUDIENCES, WHICH THE FERN CREEK CAST OF ACTORS THEN PERFORMED IN 8 MIDDLE SCHOOLS. FINALLY, WE CONDUCTED FURTHER RESIDENCIES WITH WOMEN IN GUATEMALA, FOCUSING THIS YEAR ON USING FORUM THEATRE TO ADDRESS ISSUES OF DOCTOR/PATIENT COMMUNICATION IN INDIGENOUS COMMUNITIES.
