OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 4: OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 5: Team Continuum Center for Hematologic Malignancies at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hosptial- The Team Continuum Center for Hematologic Malignancies offers patients clinical trials, the services of an Oncology Nurse Practitioner, and all the additional supportive serves that make surviving cancer possible and easier. It is a significant addition to cancer services in the greater metropolitan area. The center serves international patients as well. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 6: Endurance Events - In making a connection between two of life's most challenging pursuits, that of battling cancer and running a marathon, Team Continuum raises awareness of the strength and Resilience of cancer patients and the doctors, families, friends and organizations that are vital to the treatment and recovery process. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 7: In 2011, Team Continuum supported Hope and Heroes'the Integrative Therapies Program for Children with Cancer.This program provides a variety of complementary and alternative medicine services to help children and their families as they progress through cancer therapy and into survivorship. Services include massage, acupuncture, aromatherapy, yoga, meditation and nutritional counseling all with the intention of lessening the side effects of surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. All of these services are provided free of charge to our patients and their families.
