Client Note 1 - Part IIIExempt Purpose:The corporation is organized on a nonprofit basis exclusively for educational purposes, including without limitation to encourage and facilitate the writing, filming, recording, dissemination and publishing of books, charts, papers, reports, pamphlets, brochures, video tapes, audio tapes, and other educational materials about Classical Five-Element Acupuncture as taught by JR and Judy Becker Worsley; developing , conducting, and offering educational curriculums, classes, seminars, training sessions, demonstrations, talks, meetings, and other educational programs about Classical Five-Element Acupuncture as taught by the Worsleys; continuing the educational development, knwoledge, and skill of those interested, involved with , or practicing Classical Five-Element Acupuncture as taught by the Worsleys; and conducting other educational activities to provide information, develop greater knowledge, and enhance and promote knowledge regarding the principles, theories, advantages, and applicability of Classical Five-Element Acupuncture as taught by the Worlseys. Without limiting the foregoing, the corporation shall pursue its education purposes by using qualified teachers or instructors who have an appropriate level of knowledge and ability in Classical Five-Element Acupuncture as taught by the Worsleys.Program Service Accomplishment, Line 28A primary service the Institute provided was the sale of five books and one DVD. Three textbooks for students, Classical Five-Element Acupuncture Volume I: Meridians and Points; Classical Five-Element Acupuncture Volume II: Traditional Diagnosis; and Classical Five-Element Acupuncture Volume III: the Five Elements and the Officials. Two additional books are general information books for the public, Is Acupunture for You and Talking About Acupuncture in New York. The DVD is "An Introduction fot Classical Five-Element Acupuncture, A Public Talk by J.R. Worsley." A "Point Reference Chart" is also included among the instructional materials.Program Service Accomplishment, Line 29The annual MAP (Master Apprentice Training) Conference was held in Miami Beach, FL, November 4-8, 2011.
