No Guns on Campus. The gun lobby introduced guns on campus bills in 20 states in 2011, attempting to restrict colleges and universities from restricting guns. The Brady Campaign's Colin Goddard, a survivor of the 2007 shooting at Virginia Tech, traveled the country speaking out about these outrageous bills and mobilizing students to take action. We succeeded in holding back the onslaught in 2011. As we have in more than 30 states over the past five years. You can count on the Brady Campaign to continue to speak on behalf of the American people who believe that our students don't need a gun in their backpack when they head off to college. Passing Sensible Gun Laws in California. Two pieces of legislation that were the top priority of the California Chapters of the Brady Campaign were signed into law in October 2011. AB 809 requires the preservation of sales records on long gun sales to make it easier for law enforcement to trace crime guns. And AB 144 prohibits the open carry of guns in public in California. Numerous police chiefs across the state joined with the Brady Campaign and other partners to get these bills passed.

1. Too Many Victims. Too Many Victims candlelight vigils were held in churches and town halls and on front lawns from coast to coast on January 8, 2012 to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the Tucson shootings that critically injured Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords. Americans joined together to stand as one to remember the victims of American gun violence and to say with one voice, "we will no longer tolerate the loss of innocent lives."

SchD_P10_S00_L02 Schedule D, Part X, Line 2 I ncome Taxes The Corporation has adopted Financial Accounting Standards Board Interpretation No. 48, Accounting for Uncertainty in Income Taxes, (FIN 48), as permitted by FASB Staff Position (FSP) FIN 48-3, which is codified as FASB ASC 740. FASB ASC 740 requires changes in recognition and measurement for uncertain tax positions. The Corporation has analyzed its tax positions and has concluded that no liability should be recorded related to any uncertain tax positions. The Corporation is not aware of any tax positions which it believes will change materially in the next twelve months. If this position changes, the Corporation will assess the impact of any such matters on its financial position and results of operations. The Corporation files its informational tax returns for Federal reporting purposes. Currently, the 2010, 2009 and 2008 tax returns are open and subject to examination. The Corporation is currently not under audit by any income tax jurisdiction.
