What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? To provide for, protect and improve the general welfare of its members and the employees represented by the local union. To organize all persons engaged in work within its jurisdiction for their mutual benefit, aid and protection. To promote or establish wages, hours, and other working conditions for all workers. To promote or establish programs ot meet the cost of health care, retirement, unemployment and similar need of workers and their families.

  Sch N, Part III, Additional Information Effective January 1, 2011, the Four Corners Administrative District Council (ADC) was established, comprised of the three BAC Local Unions, Local 1, Utah, Local 3, Arizona / New Mexico and Local 7 Colorado. The ADC headquarters will be in Denver, Colorado. The ADC will negotiate agreements with the employers covering work perform in the trade and geographic jurisdiction of the constituent Locals. The ADC also will handle all of the administrative functions for the affiliated local unions. Each affiliated local union will remain intact as a politically autonomous organization and will continue to conduct local union meetings and to otherwise serve as a focal point for communications between members and with BAC generally. The ADC will assume all assets and liabilities of the affiliated local unions to achieve a consolidated administrative operation.
