What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Lakeview Cemetery Association, Inc. maintains a cemetery located in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. The Association provides the care and upkeep of all of the property held for these purposes, and sells burial plots to members of the public in those areas of Lakeview Cemetery which have not been used up to this time. In 2005 and 2006 a monument to hold cremated remains was added, and income is derived from the sale of niches in this monument.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 The grounds and roads of the cemetery were maintained by professional contractors throughout the year. The roads are plowed in the winter to allow access by those wishing to visit the cemetery. Unused plots and crematory niches were sold to members of the general public.
