What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? DEDICATED TO UPHOLDING THE INTEGRITY OF PURE BRED DOGS, PROMOTING THE SPORT OF PURE BRED DOGS AND BREEDING FOR TYPE AND FUNCTION; ADVOCATE FOR THE PURE BRED DOG AS A FAMILY COMPANION, AND EXHIBITING IN VARIOUS VENUES.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 PUBLIC EDUCATION OF PURE BRED K-9'S WAS ACHIEVED THROUGH TWO FORMAL DOG SHOWS AT THE NEW YORK STATE FAIR GROUNDS IN SYRACUSE, NY. AN ESTIMATED 5,000 PEOPLE ATTENDED THE ANNUAL SPRING SHOW WITH APPROXIMATELY 2,000 DOGS BEING SHOWN. ATTENDANCE AT THE ANNUAL FALL SHOW IS ESTIMATED AT 3,000 WITH APPROXIMATELY 1,500 DOGS BEING SHOWN.THE KENNEL CLUB DONATES TO VARIOUS AREA HUMANE SOCIETIES, A 4-H YOUTH PROGRAM, AND GIVES SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS TO LOCAL STUDENTS PURSUING COLLEGE EDUCATION IN ANIMAL RELATED PROGRAMS AND ANIMAL HEALTH AT CORNELL. AMOUNTS DONATED DURING THE YEAR TOTALED $3,690.THE KENNEL CLUB PARTICIPATED IN HONOR AMERICA DAYS IN ROME, NY. MEMBERS MARCHED IN THE PARADE. THE KENNEL CLUB PARTICIPATED ON ALL LEVELS IN THE ANNUAL "WHO LET THE DOGS OUT" EVENT IN ROME, NY, SPONSORED BY THE ROME CITY CLERKS OFFICE, THE INCLUDING PLANNING AND EXECUTION THEREOF.
