What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The American GI Forum of the United States, The American GI Forum of the U.S. Women, and The American GI Forum of the U.S. Youth (The Forum), was formed to secure the blessings of the American democracy at every level of life: local, state, and national; for all citizens. The Forum is supported primarily through corporate contributions. To further the aims of the veterans and their families and all persons of Hispanic ancestry, The Forum, its officers and members pledge to: A. Uphold and defend the constitution of the United States of America and the American flagB.Foster and perpetuate the principles of American Democracy based on religious and political freedom for the individual and equal opportunity for all.C.Foster and enlarge equal educational opportunities, equal economic opportunities, equal justice under the law, and equal political opportunities for all citizens, regardless of race, religion, sex, or national origin.
