The Voter Education Projection (VEP) was ended in FY 11. The VEP grant provided revenue for a 2-year period starting in FY 09. All grant requirements were satisfied before the program ended.
Part III #4d
Center for Integrating Teaching and Technology: The Center for Integrating Teaching and Technology (CITT) brings together faculty from RWWL's four member institutions to collaborate with RWWL librarians in the development of resources and tools for more effective engagement of student learning. The CITT offers a variety of workshops, seminars, and one-on-one sessions http://research.auctr.edu/citt to help faculty effectively integrate technology and primary resources into the curriculum. Workshops topics include the use of Camtasia, clicker technology, podcasting, introduction of visual literacy, and use of archival resources. Revenue of $150,000 was received in FY10. Past Presidents' Oral History Project: The Past Presidents' Oral History Project supports an initiative to document, publish and preserve the experiences and administrative contributions of living former presidents of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). The project, "Documenting the Perspectives of the Council of Past HBCU Presidents," will collect the oral histories from select past presidents, placing them within a historical context and framing issues of leadership and strategic management within HBCUs. Grant revenue of $46,000 was received in FY12.

MEMBER APPROVAL PROCESS
The manner of appointment of the Board of Trustees shall be as set forth in the Library Support Agreement, and the Members agree to vote in favor of the persons selected in accordance with those procedures. Each Trustee shall remain in office until his or her death, disability, disqualification, resignation, or removal as permitted herein or pursuant to the Library Support Agreement.

The conflict of interest policy is addressed annually in the board meeting. Any issues are brought to the floor for discussion and approval. The discussion and approval are reflected in the minutes of the board meeting.

The Personnel Committee of the Board makes a recommendation to the Chair of the Board for any changes to the salary of the CEO & Library Director. The salary recommendation is based on a review/comparison of market salary and the CEO's attainment of the strategic objectives established by the board.
