What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? To promote the welfare of children and youth in homes, school, community and place of worship; to raise the standards of home life; to secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth; to bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth; to develop between the educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social and spiritual education.

Accelerated Reader program and incentives for all students. Students read books approved through the AR program, and then take tests on the books. Our new program provides tests for hundreds more books, as well as online access for families from home. This program encourages reading and reading at increasingly challenging levels. Students earn points for each book that they read and test on. Students reaching a certain point level receive an incentive award in the form of an engraved dog tag that states something like "Liberty Reader" or "Dog gone good reader". Tags are collected by the students throughout the year.
