WE RECEIVED OVER 1,500 EMAILS OF THOSE PROFESSIONALS WANTING TO STAY UP TO DATE WITH OUR PROGRAM. PATHWAYS, CONTINUES TO WORK WITH THE AMERICAN ACADEMY OF PEDIATRICS (AAP), WITH OUR ONLINE CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION (CME) COURSE: RECOGNIZING EARLY MOTOR DELAYS AT THE 2-MONTH PEDIATRIC WELL VISIT. THE CURRICULUM USES SIDE-BY-SIDE VIDEO COMPARISONS OF INFANT OBSERVATION TO HELP HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONALS, STUDENTS, PARENTS, AND CAREGIVERS RECOGNIZE THE SIGNS OF AN EARLY MOTOR DELAY IN CHILDREN AS EARLY AS 2 MONTHS OF AGE AND DETERMINE THE MOST APPROPRIATE INTERVENTION IF AN EARLY MOTOR DELAY IS OBSERVED. (CONTINUED FROM FORM 990, PART III, LINE 4C) IN FISCAL YEAR 2011 THE OPEN HEARTS AWARDS PROGRAM GRANTED A TOTAL OF $13,500 TO SIXTEEN CONGREGATIONS FROM ILLINOIS, LOUISIANA, NEW YORK, AND VIRGINIA TO RECOGNIZE THEIR EFFORTS TO WELCOME WORSHIPPERS OF ALL ABILITIES AND TO HELP FUND SPECIFIC, PLANNED ACCESS PROJECTS, BRINGING THE TOTAL AWARDS GRANTED SINCE 1996 TO $117,500. SEVEN WORKSHOPS WERE PRESENTED TO CLERGY, LAITY, THEOLOGY STUDENTS AND VOLUNTEERS AND EXHIBIT BOOTHS WERE STAFFED AT TWO EVENTS. THE EFFORTS OF 214 VOLUNTEER INCLUSION REPRESENTATIVES WERE COORDINATED IN THE ROMAN CATHOLIC ARCHDIOCESE OF CHICAGO.
