What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The American Sighthound Field Association (ASFA) is an organization of Sighthound fanciers dedicated to the common goal of preserving and further developing the natural beauty, grace, speed and coursing skill of the Sighthound. ASFA maintains rules, procedures, and records for lure field trials. We endeavor to promote lure field trials for sighthounds. ASFA maintains and promotes the sport of lure coursing by means of a number of activities. These include: 1) Providing rules for the conduct of the trial, judge licensing, etc.; 2) Records keeping for championship Awards and Certificates; & 3) Information about the sport, including videos

28 Animal Exhibitions & Shows: During the last year, ASFA sponsored 280 field trials across the country. We had 2,272 individual hounds that ran a total 11,421 times earning Certificates of Title. The Annual Convention of Delegates was held in Omaha, NE. Our International Invitational was held in Virginia with over 300 entries for the two-day event.
