	Alliance for Choices in Education (ACE) advocates for educational programs that give parents choices & provides info to members & others. Our work benefits over 25,000 students attending choice schools & results in other benefits to Milwaukee and Wisconsin, including public school improvement. ACE spent time in 2011 undertaking strategic planning during which a decision was made to focus its advocacy efforts on private school choice only. In prior years, ACE performed some advocacy for charters and partnership schools in addition to advocacy for private choice schools. ACE suspended fundraising during this time of strategic planning.

Conflict of Interest Policy	Part VI-B, Line 12C	Annually, the officers and directors are provided a copy of the conflict of interest policy, and sign that they have read, understand, and will follow the policy. Alliance for Choices in Education reviews the signed policies to ensure that all have been completed. The conflict of interest policy covers the organization's board and officers. The policy requires them to self-report any conflicts that they have. In situations where a conflict exists, the individual shall be excluded from any discussion or vote regarding the transaction or arrangement at issue, and shall not be present in the meeting room during all board meetings and discussions.
