Briefly describe the organization’s mission: We provide emergency ambulance services and medical treatment to the towns of South Berwick, Maine and Rollinsford, NH utilizing both volunteer and paid, professional EMT staff. We also have a large presence in the community working with local fire and police departments and teaching CPR and basic life saving skills.

We provided emergency ambulance services and medical treatment to the towns of South Berwick, ME and Rollinsford, NH utilizing both volunteer and paid, professional EMT staff. We also provided, upon request, emergency ambulance transportion of patients to area hospitals or emergency facilities,first aid assistance and/or rescue services in the event of an accident or to aid in the search for lost or missing persons in the surrounding communities. In addition, we work with local fire and police departments in the teaching of CPR and other life saving skills.

For the position of Treasurer, the nominating committee shall place in nomination the name of at least one person. The person elected Treasurer, will become, by virtue of his/her election, a full member of the South Berwick Emergency Ambulance and Rescue Service, Inc. Biennially, at the regularly scheduled June meeting of the membership of the Service, the membership will elect, by secret ballot, persons to serve in the organizationss elected offices. Prior to the meeting, provision shall be made for members to cast absentee ballots.

The balloting at all elections will continue until all present at the meeting have had the opportunity to vote and a minimum of two-thirds of the Services membership has voted.
