	Through our educational, policy and advocacy work, Maryland remains one of the most Pro-Choice states in the nation. In an effort to maintain and improve access to a full range of reproductive health care, NARAL Pro-Choice Maryland works to:- Protect and elect pro-choice leaders, - Defeat legislation aimed at restricting reproductive rights, and- Introduce and pass pro-active, pro-choice legislation. Since 1996, NARAL Pro-Choice MD has defeated over 55 pieces of anti-choice legislation. And, we lead the way towards the passage of Question 6, Maryland's codification of Roe v Wade in Maryland in 1992.
