SECOND ACCOMPLISHMENT

THE ORGANIZATION ENTERED INTO A FISCAL SPONSORSHIP AGREEMENT WITH THE FRIENDS OF THE GRANT PARK POOL TO SUPPORT EFFORTS TO MAKE THE COMMUNITY POOL LOCATED IN GRANT PARK A NICE, CLEAN AND SAFE PLACE THAT IS WELCOMING TO EVERYONE. THE REFURBISHMENT OF THE POOL SATISFIES OUR EXEMPT PURPOSE BY UPGRADING THE QUALITY OF LIFE IN THE GRANT PARK NEIGHBORHOOD.
THIRD ACCOMPLISHMENT

THE ASSOCIATION SUPPORTS OTHER NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS IN THE FORM OF CASH CONTRIBUTIONS. ALL ORGANIZATIONS SUPPORTED DIRECTLY IMPACT THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF GRANT PARK NEIGHBORHOOD AND THE PROGRAMS SPONSORED ARE ATTENDED BY NEIGHBORHOOD RESIDENTS. THE ORGANIZATION HOLDS MONTHLY MEETINGS TO ALLOW NEIGHBORS TO DISCUSS ITEMS OF IMPORTANCE TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD. IT ALSO SITS COMMITTEES TO HANDLE SPECIAL MATTERS. IT MAINTAINS A WEBSITE TO KEEP NEIGHBORS INFORMED ABOUT IMPORTANT ISSUES AND EVENTS.
