The Organization works year round to make change that matters to Minnesotans by organizing at the grassroots, building dynamic and effective coalitions, educating members and voters, endorsing and electing progressive candidates, impacting the State and local policy and winning issue campaigns.

	Economy Program: In 2011 we convened a Summit for a Fair Economy with former Secretary of Labor Robert Reich. Democracy Program: In early 2011 joined with other organizations to advocate for a reform to our current redistricting system, through this campaign we hoped to create a more fair, transparent and inclusive redistricting system Justice for All: In April 2011 our Justice for All campaign launched its "Fair Hiring Practices' campaign.Hmong Organizing Program: In 2011 the Hong Organizing Program worked on issues regarding the effects of the Central Corridor light rail line on Hmong owned businesses and home foreclosures in the community, launched a campaign against a local radio demanding that they stop the use of racist and offensive materials in their programming, and worked for recognition of Hmong veterans. Health Care Campaign: From late 2010 into 2011 our healthcare program lead a campaign to have the HMOs in the state of Minnesota pay back record high profits they acquired, that eventually lead to $100 Million being put back into the Medicaid program. In 2011 the remainder of our health care work focused on making sure the Affordable Care Act will be implemented in a way that is fair and productive for all Minnesotans.
