What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The mission of the Utility Workers Union of America is to improve the lives of working families and to bring economic justice to the workplace. The union is a labor union for negotiation of labor contracts and participation in arbitrations and greivances as well as other matters involved in labor and management relationships.
