FIN 48 Disclosure	Sch. D, Part XIV	The Club is a tax-exempt organization under IRC Section 501(c)(7), and its member-related operations are not subject to income taxes. However, unrelated business income, if any, of the Club is subject to income taxes based on corporate income tax rates. The Club applies a more-likely-than-not measurement methodology to reflect the financial statement impact of uncertain tax positions taken or expected to be taken in a tax return. After evaluating the tax positions taken, none are considered to be uncertain; therefore, no amounts have been recognized as of August 31, 2011 or 2010. If incurred, interest and penalties associated with tax positions are recorded in the period assessed as general and administrative expense. No interest or penalties have been assessed as of August 31, 2011 or 2010. Tax years that remain subject to examination include 2008 and 2007 for the federal and state returns, respectively, through the current year.

Board of Directors Review of Tax Return	Form 990, Part VI, Line 11a	The tax return is reviewed by the Controller, who then forwards it to the Executive Committee for review and approval. The return is then emailed to the Board members for their review prior to its filing.
Compensation Setting Policy	Form, Part VI, Line 15	The executive committee recommends wage or bonus changes to the full board after reviewing evaluations submitted by each board member and then the board approves the compensation for the General Manager (CEO). The general manager is responsible for reviewing and approving the compensation of the Controller. The controller is responsible for the review of all other employees. Both the Board of Directors and the General Manager use comparability data from a group of 30 city clubs, data from Mountain States Employers Council, and the Mile High Chapter of Club Managers.
Conflict of Interest Policy	Form 990, Part VI, Line 12	All board members are required to read and sign a conflict of interest form annually. If any conflicts of interest exist, the board members recuse themselves from voting on any matters pertaining to the conflict.
